Why didn't anyone care

I'm going to say it loud and clear, so all you non-voters can hear me. IF YOU DIDN'T VOTE, YOU DON'T MOVE OR BREATHE UNTIL YOU DO. Anyone who didn't vote should be ashamed. You most likely just pushed in George Bush, who will draft you, draft your kids, or burn you on healthcare and/or wellfare. The NCLB Act will destroy your childs future, if that's what stage ofyour life you're in right now. Either way, you will suffer under Bush. And I will sit there and laugh and laugh and laugh, because, You know what? YOU DID'NT VOTE! Be ashamed and afraid. And don't run away either. You made your bed, now lie in it. I still call for secession, but I will mention that in later articles. There is only 1 way to redeem yourself and look better in the eyes of the world if you didn't vote. Act now. Join a party, write a blog, hunger strike, be creative. But to all who did vote, I have this to say. I thank you for your help, it wasn't strong enough, but don't give up. There is still hope. Montana elected a Democratic governor, Obama won by 43 points, Wisconsin was won, New Hampshire was won. In 2008, we will prevail to victory, but for now, we must push as well as we can and weather the storm by trying to beat it down any way we can. I thank you for reading this article. I will post again soon, so come back!

You do understand it is the democrats from the House (Charlie Rangel and John Conyers) who are talking about bring the draft in. Not Bush. I am sick and tired of Democrat who don't even know what their own party is doing. The democrats proposed the draft to the House floor and then tried to American public that Bush will bring back the draft. When did Bush ever say he will bring in the draft?

Even starting a sentence with this after reading the article marks you as a complete optimist!

Isn't it interesting that they just assume anyone who didn't vote would have voted for Kerry? Typical also that blame for defeat is placed on anyone and everyone but themselves. Call me crazy, but that just may be the problem. Until capable of self-examination and recognition that the party has been co-opted by the hard left hatemongers, the Democratic Party will remain doomed to progressive atrophy. Their only hope of a return to relevance is to purge the calcified old hacks like Ted Kennedy and cultivate more Barack Obama's, though lord knows why I'm offering advice.

Cheers,
Daiwa

The optimist says that the glass is half full. The pessimist says it's half empty. I say it's completely unsanitary because I pissed in it. (Stolen from Different Hanja and used without his permission)

Wow, isn't that the truth! I personally didn't vote, and I don't feel bad about it. I haven't voted since 1992, when I realized that I couldn't care less about politics. As I've gotten older I can see the importance, but to me it is a lot like watching a sporting event. It would have more relevance to me if I had money riding on it! Part of this stems from living out of the country, but a lot is just a lack of social/political awareness or givashit. I'd have to agree with chiprj, though, he slightly misquoted me: The optimist says the glass is half full, the pessimist says that it is half empty. Me, I'm a realist, I'd say the glass is completely unsanitary because I pissed in it. My point from this is that if it is jacked up, it's my fault, not someone elses! I don't have a problem taking responsibility for my inaction, Bush got elected without me, again! Yay! I would have voted for him, but he didn't need me to, now did he?
